UpFor

Passionate about creating tools to help individuals connect in an increasingly remote world, my roommate and I spent our nights creating UpFor. We developed a social event planning app that is now used by hundreds to organize rock climbing sessions, backyard barbecues, or whatever activities people love to do. Written in React Native with Firebase infrastructure, UpFor is a robust social platform. The product is highly scalable and stable due to eloquent system design decisions. The application has production level monitoring and logging via datadog, self implemented ip based universal linking, and features that employ AI Image generation.

We are currently developing Seek. Seek is a feature that allows users to create, share, and discover local events. In order to provide insightful recommendations I am experimenting with technologies such as geohashing, text embeddings, clustering algorithms, and other state of the art ML technologies.
